Fishing Rules
Registration & Entry Fees
Team Tournament – maximum of 4 fishermen to a team. Multiple boats and kayaks can be used.
Fees: Team fee (4) - $275.00 Individual entries $75.00.
All entry fees must be paid by Friday, May 18, 2012. Entry fee includes all meals, awards, and goodie bags. Additional souvenir shirts and caps can be purchased. All food & entertainment will be provided to registered fisherman. Additional plates can be purchased on Friday at Tiki & Saturday at Stingaree.
Final registration will take place at Tiki Beach Bar at 6:00 pm Friday May 18th prior to the Calcutta, but is not required. Entries can be made at bolivarchamber.org any time prior to 3 p.m. on Friday the 18th. After 3 on-line applications will not be admitted.
Fishing Rules
All anglers must have a valid Texas Fishing License and Saltwater Stamp. All Texas Parks and Wildlife rules must be observed. Boats may leave the dock not before and no earlier than 6:00 am on May 19th. Natural or artificial bait may be used. All passengers in boat must be registered anglers.
3 Trout (limit of one trout over 25” per team), 2 slot redfish and 1 flounder will we weighed per team. Winners will be determined by total weight of the catch (maximum of 6 fish). Ties will be broken by check-in times.
Winners may be subject to polygraph. Cash prizes may not be awarded until authenticity of catch is determined.
All Officials decisions are final.
Tournament boundaries are the surf from High Island @ HW 124 West to San Luis Pass and Galveston bay complex. Entrants can begin from their preferred launch or beach access. Tournament will begin at daylight May 21.
Weighing
Official weigh in will take place from 12:00 - 3:00 pm at Stingaree Restaurant & Marina and will be administered by the Crystal Beach Fishing Club. Team Captain must represent team at the weigh site and must be in line by 3 p.m. NO EXCEPTIONS!

1) Heaviest Stringer:
3 Speckled Trout, 2 Redfish, 1 Flounder
- 1st place - $2000
- 2nd place - $1000
- 3rd place - $500
2) Kids Hardhead Haul-in: Prizes by Academy
3) Winner Take All Pot:
Awards Ceremony/Live Music will take place at Stingaree Restaurant & Marina at 5:00 pm on day of tournament.
* All entrants agree to hold Bolivar Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, Crystal Beach Fishing Club, Stingaree Restaurant & Marina, and the Tiki Beach Bar harmless in the event of any accident or occurrence during these events.
